Speaker Spotlight: Camille Stewart Gloster to Moderate Panel on Government Zero Trust

We are excited to announce that Camille Stewart Gloster, a renowned strategist and executive in the cybersecurity field, will be moderating our panel on "Securing the Nation: Government's Journey to Zero Trust and Data-Centric Security" at DMV Rising 2024.

Gloster brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors, having held significant roles at the White House, Department of Homeland Security, Google, and Deloitte.

As the first Deputy National Cyber Director for Technology & Ecosystem for the White House, she advised the President and led national efforts on critical issues such as technology security, supply chain security, and cyber workforce development.

Her expertise extends to emerging technologies, particularly for artificial intelligence. Gloster played an integral part in drafting and implementing the 2023 A.I. Executive Order and sat on the White House AI Council. This experience positions her perfectly to lead a discussion on the government's evolving approach to cybersecurity in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Throughout her career, Gloster has been a driving force for diversity and inclusion in the cybersecurity field. She co-founded the #ShareTheMicInCyber movement and the #NextGenNatSec initiative, both aimed at supporting a diverse workforce in cyber and national security. Her efforts have earned her numerous accolades, including being named to Business Insider's AI 100 and recognized as Microsoft's Security Changemaker of the Year.

As moderator, Gloster will guide a panel of distinguished speakers, including Justin Fanelli, Acting CTO of the Department of Navy, in exploring the implementation of zero trust architecture and data-centric security measures across federal agencies. This session promises to offer valuable insights for cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, and industry partners alike.
